Review 1 Initially I was a bit mixed with respect to the publication of a book on WordPress 3. What more could I find out compared to what we see all over the Internet? After purchase, I devoured it. I was able to maintain, update and modify a WordPress site that I already had (with an existing free theme). I was also able to get into the adventure of creating a new site from A to Z. It obviously took me longer than a super experienced user as are the authors of the book but without this book, it would not have happened. I really learned a lot. And best of all is that it works! This is why I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in learning more about WordPress because the book covers all aspects of web design and web development from a WordPress perspective. Review 2 True that a lot of help is out there on the web but it's useful to have the info gathered together. Problem I find with WordPress is that there are so many people contributing to it with plug-ins of all sorts, which are constantly being updated - it can leave you a little bewildered! Review 3 Really a very comprehensive book for anyone who wants to take advantage of WordPress. Well, you have to get your hands a little dirty, understand a little HTML and PHP, but there's something for all tastes, whether you are just a user or more seriously involved in web development.
