Introduction to Waste Management

Introduction to Waste Management by Kranert Martin and Klaus Cord-Landwehr Synopsis Recycling in recent years and the various areas of waste management have become more complex. All social groups agree on the objective of sustainable waste management but the high expectations for the avoidance of waste have only been partially realized. This book deals with the latest knowledge in all areas of waste management, including concepts, quantities, composition, collection, transport, recycling, disposal and landfill. It also covers all technical regulations, rules and standard, including the EU Landfill Directive and Germany’s Soil Protection Ordinance.

Review 1 I had a look at this book as Germany has a reputation for being a world leader in recycling so it's interesting to know how they handle things over there. Very technical but worth the the effort, especially if you have an interest in legislation. All matters to do with waste management are covered here. (Posted by Skip Hire)

Review 2 An excellent introduction to waste management. (Posted by Blitzkrieg)
