HTML 5 Manual by Stefan Münz and Clemens Gull Synopsis The HTML5 guide by Stefan Münz and Clemens Gull is an excellent work book and reference book for anyone looking for a current HTML / CSS reference guide and wanting to become familiar with the new features from HTML5 and CSS3. The systematic design allows the reader to pursue their own learning paths. Thus everyone will be able to benefit from the work, from the ambitious novice to the seasoned web expert.
Review 1 I have been working for a long time with HTML. So far, this has been more or less a hobby. I always had support on the Internet. I often use tags without knowing the exact structure. I have the book now for two days and all the question marks that I had up here in my head are gone. The book really brings me to the next level. I would recommend it even to absolute beginners. Beginners may need a few exercises but you can find them on the Internet. For me the book is perfect. And not just for HTML5 but generally for HTML. Compatibility and differences are highlighted and you know when to use HTML5 today and when it is better to go back to an older day. The only drawback: every now and again there is an error. But only small things so far. (Posted by closebracket)
Review 2 At 744 pages, a mammoth book but a useful one if you want to get to grips with HTML5 and find the shorter guides not detailed enough. (Posted by Web Design in Shrewsbury)
Review 3 Stefan Münz has taught me HTML with the SELFHTML and now it is all explained. His new work will be the textbook for the new generation of the web. Thanks to the authors. (Posted by Helga)
Review 4 This book takes you well into HTML5. It is a good reference tool, but too bad that most will be implemented only in the latest generation of browsers. I will try out some of what is happening and what is not. The new features for graphic and audio / video are well described and the text structure in the new HTML5 is also well described.
