Review 1 This book is an inspiration to all who want to beautify their homes by simple means. Everyday things can make very fine decorations. This book is stimulating enough to drive everyone to browse at flea markets once again (or the attic) and see many things in a new light. Recycling as a lifestyle - and enjoy creative design. The two authors of this book provide great ideas. (Posted by Gertrude)
Review 2 This book is wonderful! It made me immediately itch to search basement and attic for treasure. Many of these ideas I would never come to on my own. Turn grandma's silver cutlery into a hook bar for the kitchen or use an old wooden drawer as a shelf… Sure, some things are not to my taste, but one can change everything to your preference. As an ideas pool this is a wonderful resource! (Posted by Florence)
Review 3 Another book on the creative aspects of recycling. Full of good ideas, though I doubt whether there's much I'd want to try. (Posted by Skip Hire)
Review 3 Just incredible what can be made of all old things! I find the book very appealing. (Posted by sophie)
Review 4 Honestly I was pretty disappointed with the book! I expected more modern styling ideas not quite kitschy suggestions! A must read for hardcore fans of Grandma's attic utensils! (Posted by ZimZam)
Review 5 There's many a treasure to be found in Grandma's attic utensils. ZimZam is being short-sighted. (Posted by Skip Hire)
Review 6 I am disappointed by the book. This is really just dust collecting for lovers of crocheted doilies and pointless. (Posted by bling666)
Review 7 I am no lover of crocheted doilies myself, but bling666 is rather harsh I feel. (Posted by Skip Hire)
Review 8 The book contains a lot of great ideas on how to turn existing but no longer used items into a great new decoration for the home. In addition, the proposals are very tasteful and not the usual you get. The price of the book is worth it. (Posted by Julian)
Review 9 I cannot share the enthusiasm of the other evaluators. No new ideas or any that I haven’t come across already. I could have saved money. (Posted by Prune Squalor)
Review 10 Pity that you find here just old ideas. Those seeking a more modern look will unfortunately not find it here, just "grandma-like." Lace and ruffles! (Posted by tracy-winks)
Review 11 What is it with these people?! You don't like your grandmas?! I like lace - makes very beautiful clothes. (Posted by Skip Hire)
Review 12 Absolutely worth seeing, full of ideas you can implement yourself or simply browse through. A great gift to help people with their housing decoration. I agree with Skip Hire - lace is wonderful! (Posted by Helga)
Review 13 I love this book!! I have found so many decorative ideas in this book with things that I just had to do! (Posted by Nico)
