Review 1 A book on web design that’s easy to read and a good start in understanding the evolution of CSS 3. It will be the ideal companion for those who already know CSS and want to move forward and start implementing CSS3 specifications in their web development. (Posted by Fran)

Review 2 I do not regret buying this book. Pleasant to read, full of humor and very relevant, it is for all those who already know CSS and want to improve their web design, while maintaining compatibility with older browsers. The author deals with the essentials and does not lose the reader through explanations too technical, giving a short book but very effective. No need to venture into areas reserved for technical hardliners, it is called web design and you need to know it to bring real value to browsing a web page. If you are involved in web design and want to know most of what there is to know about CSS3, I highly recommend this book. Yes it’s true that we can always find a big part of the information on the Internet, but here’s the information gathered into a book with concrete examples of web design using the new properties introduced by CSS3. Review 3 I found it unfortunate that the author does not mention all the new CSS3 properties. I would have preferred him to do so by writing a shorter book (as the book on HTML 5 from the same collection). Especially as I'm not in total agreement with the idea of using CSS3 today. I find it unfortunate to deprive a large portion of Internet users a better experience knowing the potential importance of web design in the success of a website. Apart from these criticisms, the explanations are very good (sometimes with a little humor) and the layout of the book very successful. (Posted by Bukowski)

Review 4 @Bukowski: I think the problem with CSS3 is the ever growing number of properties. I'm not convinced that these will be supported by all browsers. (Posted by Web Design Shrewbury)
